My little papercut web is now hanging in the window with the rest of the Project-X show. I took some pictures of it hanging and the reflections of light on my skin and shirt so you can see the effect I had been working towards. I'm pretty pleased with how it looks.

Thursday pt. 2
Thursday

Spring Break means I am reunited with my baby owl cat, Eliza (named after Eliza Thornberry)! She's a darling. I was also finally able to do some shopping this week. I got the straw cloche you see in this photo - although I was looking at the tag and it said 100% paper, which is interesting. It said not to get it wet. So I suppose I shouldn't wear it to row boats or to the beach - bummer! It's the perfect hat for those sorts of things!
Anyhow, I also got some sweet brown vintage shorts, a long high waisted blue skirt, a lovely button back blouse, a gingham shirt dress, some new t-strap flats, and finally! pants! The pants are from Slash - on College near Ashby - the best place to get new jeans, in my opinion. I got the shoes and the hat at Urban, guiltily. I found the blouse and dress at Mercy Vintage on Piedmont Ave - a wonderful store that moved from San Pablo recently and changed their name. I would buy so much more from them if I had the monies. Lastly, the skirt and shorts were found at Pretty Penny , another of my favorite vintage shops in the bay area. If you haven't been to the bay, and you like to shop (especially vintage), you should check those places out for sure. I didn't post pictures of all of the clothes because it was taking much too long and I should do other things right now.
